A friend/Co-worker of mine sent me this pillow for my birthday. She lives in North Carolina so it's not like I see her every day, or even talk to her every day. So for her to remember to send me something for my birthday even when co-workers I have worked with for a decade did nothing or even friends forgot, is truly special. Not that I am upset with anyone that did not buy me a present or call me on my birthday, I just explain that to illustrate the thoughtfulness of her actions.She's a pretty great person. And I have been really lucky to get to know her and spend time with her. We have spent time in Raleigh, Nashville, Utah, and The Netherlands on business trips. We have visited together Andrew Jackson's plantation, the set of a CMT TV show, many a restaurant, Laser Tag in Apeldoorn, the Smyrna Target (twice) etc. She is fun.
The pillow is made of fabric she purchased in Deventer, which is in Holland. We were there about a year ago. She and her Mother made up pillows that she could share with people on their birthdays. How fabulous is that?
I love it. When I look at it, I feel happy.

I love, love, love the Hello Kitty Hawaiian Style you added for Delaney (I forgot to mention, I also liked the Halloween one too!). I'll have to show it to her in the morning since she's already retired for the evening.
