My Grandma, the one who lives on the Island, is friends with a nice man who is the head of their National Olympics Committee. This nice man, in hearing that I have a love of the Olympics, very kindly and generously parted with this pretty cool pen set that he received from the Beijing Olympics. They were only given out to the NOC delegations, so there aren't very many of them out there. I like how it opens up to look like a Sail boat. I am delighted to include it my Olympics collection.
Some of my other favorite things that you can see in this picture are - in no special order - books, a watercolor of San Francisco, a tiny picture of the Grandma of whom we speak, and a bigger picture of my cute niece Delaney.

Ooooohh, the pen set is super cool!
And, I'm sure Delaney will be delighted to learn that you included her as one of your favorite things.
What a delightful and generous gift!
For a second I thought the post said that she lived with the man (skimming has never yielded accurate results for me - it's like playing telephone or something). Anyway, I thought I'd share my momentary confusion with you.
