So, I was so intrigued by your account of the rude passenger that I missed your Oscar picks. As always, I enjoy the opinions of friend whom I know and admire in regards to the Oscars. It has been years since I've had any right to an opinion of my own...

By the way, have you watched Idol at all this year? They have a few very talented ones, and were it not for her having very strange hair (and that fact that there are others as good as her), I'd be a big fan of Ramiele Malubay, just 'cause she's a Pinay. Of course, I didn't pick it up until Ryan asked her how to say, "How are you?" in her language, and she replied, "Kumusta Ka?" Anyway, when you understand obscure, Internationally insignificant languages, you get really excited the moment a celebrity turns out to speak one (even if their celebrity status is very temporary...)

As for the men, David Archuleta absolutely blows my mind. He may not win the competition (I hope he doesn't - it may ruin his career) and he's so young, but I'll be blown away if he doesn't become another Josh Grobin or something. Not that I think Josh Grobin is the pinnacle of talent (and what's with the hair, I ask?), but there's no question that he's a HUGE STAR. If cutie David doesn't take his place next to Josh in International stardom someday, "I'll swallow my own bonnet!"

Have a good week!

P.S. Is it rude to leave such long comments on someone's blog? If so, please forgive me. I just miss you terribly!
