Tonight I went to see the musical Brigadoon, which is the story of a little Scottish village which only appears once every 100 years. I have loved this musical my whole life, I always felt like the song 'Heather on the Hill' was special for obvious reasons.
I also love anything Scottish. I really identify with this part of my ancestry...and when I was in the Highlands of Scotland several years ago, I felt like I had come home.
Today I am grateful for my ancestors.
