The Twelve Days of Thanksgiving - Day One

Somebody...who shall remain nameless...commented that they were sad that I wasn't doing a daily Thanksgiving post this month.  To be honest, I have been so busy that I just haven't made time to be grateful this year.   I have been downright curmudgeonly in fact.   But you know what, the more grateful you are the more blessings you receive.  The Universe listens.

So...today I am thankful for a thirst for knowledge and the opportunity to improve.

This past Saturday I took a photography class, and I learned so much.

Don't judge because they are just the practice shots.

But I learned about the F-Stop (to create depth of field).

ISO (sensitivity to light)

and Shutter speed (plus continuous shooting mode)

Look, a very exciting series of a rock hitting water.

Those were the main points, but I actually learned so much more.  In fact I have signed up for 4 more classes.  1 each that are specific to F-Stop, ISO, and Shutter Speed respectively.   And 1 that is all about Christmas Lights.  I am super excited.
