I really can't help it, it's a disease. I just can't help but think that every year my tree is so beautiful. So I have to post a photo.
And one would not know this by gazing on this seemingly serene scene, but Kate and I almost committed christmastree-acide whilst hanging the lights. Seriously, do not be lulled into the false sense of security that a post-Christmas sale on lights brings. You may just end up buying lights that need a degree in mechanical engineering to get working.
And I don't think I can commit to posting every day this month, but if I could I would add a scripture, song, and story reference to the end of every post. You see I have this cool booklet with an entry for every day of the season, and I loves it. So when and if I do post this month I will just add what is in the booklet for that day.

Heather your tree looks great in that corner. I love your links for the story, scripture and song. It was nice to see you this weekend. Thanks for all your cooking and baking. The turkey was outstanding. You are a fabulous cook.
I think your tree looks great! And so does that redish stocking hanging on the mantel! :)
I don't have my tree up yet and it makes me sad since I won't be home from vacation until this Saturday. I always put my tree up at the end of November so this huge ordeal for me.
Heather,
What a beautiful tree!!!
Those lights were quite fickel, but thanks for helping me keep my cool.
Great idea and clever links for the song, scripture and story.
