Bunny Hollow

I hope this posting works, for some reason when you log into Blogger in the Netherlands its all in Dutch - who knew? So I am staying in a really beautiful hotel that is in the middle of the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. Everyone at work keeps asking me how I like 'Bunny Hollow', which is not the name of the hotel but rather a nod to it's little furry friends. There are alot of bunnies here (see above) this little guy was camped on my doorstep today. I want to bring one home with me, but I suspect they may frown on it at customs. Getting to this hotel was a pain in the proverbial Ass, and No I don't mean donkey. Two plane trips, two train rides, one bus ride, one taxi ride, one hike through the forest (whilst wheeling an abnormally large suitcase) and a few swear words later we arrived. It is gorgeous here, but it's also in the middle of nowhere. Luckily my office arranged a car, and I have been happily tootling (is that a word? Survey and Microsoft Word says No, but I don't care) around the Netherlands in my Volkswagen Golf ever since.

This weekend I hope to hit Germany and some other sites around Holland. If I survive the lack of sleep, I may try to post again.

Oh, and on a side note, the co-worker that is sharing my table in training class looks exactly like Elijah Wood.

Not so much Frodo -

But more Jonathan -

He's from Budapest and his name is Tamas. I would also like to bring him home. I think customs would be ok with that.

He's darling!! I say pack him and zip up!

Thank you for the Princess Heather blog fix. I still think the live version is cooler, though, so please make sure to come back (unless Tamas proposes, and then we'll just have to come to you).

I'm so excited that you are still blogging while on your trip. I have been sad that you haven't updated your blog recently. And just so you know that Delaney has worn the dutch shirt you sent her twice this week. She calls it her hee haw shirt since it has a cow and a horse on it. She's really random, I don't know where she learned to say hee haw.

Heather I agree with Dianna we like the real you the best but it is absolutely fabulous to be able to share your experiences this way. Your hotel sounds heavenly and it is nice that your office provided you with a vehicle. Do you get to stay at this hotel the whole time? Mom

Dianna, I don't think Tamas is going to propose. We did have a nice moment of eye contact during late night shopping though. I was eating Turkish food, he was strolling down the pedestrian zone, our eyes met - it was magical. :)

Melissa, I am glad that Delaney likes her shirt. She's a smarty pants. I am looking for something else to bring her this time. I hope I find something good.

Mom, we had to switch hotels today. We are in one that is a little less nice, but still ok. And it's in the forest still but closer to the freeway. I like it.
